Blog!

I started my first blog when I was 16. I read it just now and laughed. A lot. I'd like to think I've changed a little since then. This one will not be overflowing with emo song lyrics, tales of teenage adventuring, or countless photos of Johnny Depp. Although, if I do revert slightly, don't hold it against me.

I just have to share this one excerpt from wendydarling05's Xanga (yes).

then the funniest thing ever happened! we let polly go across the street without a leash and she ran over to this german guy on a crazy looking scooter thing! we think he's really afraid of dogs because he was yelling things [in his german accent] like: "horrrrible! i've got a stick for you! should i kick it?? naaaasty beast!!!" it was soooo funny! and his scooter fell over and ....aaah we were on the floor crying cause we were laughing so hard!

SO. I'm returning to the world of blogging. Lately I've been reading a lot of people's art blogs, especially ones where they draw something every single day. That's so impressive and so inspiring. I know myself well enough not to attempt such a feat, but I do hope this will motivate me to draw more.

Anyway. I'm not sure what you'll find here. Maybe drawings. Maybe rants & reviews of books, films, and music. Maybe just rants. Maybe some crazy musing. Maybe even a few lyrics, adventures, and photos of Johnny Depp. Let's start with a silly little drawing.

This is from a while ago, but it's appropriate because it happened again this week. I took it to the Apple store last time and the Genius turned it back on. (They really call themselves Geniuses!) This time I turned it back on. Who's the genius now?

He also referred to my iBook as "almost vintage," which I found hilarious. But. The power cord is currently held in place by masking tape, obscuring the CD drive (which is ok because it's broken anyway). I know its days are numbered, and I will mourn when the apple goes dark for the last time.
